The Truth about Hypnosis

Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness. We go in and out of hypnosis throughout the day without even knowing it. An example of naturally-induced hypnosis is when you're driving down a road you normally take and your mind is a million miles away but your body is automatically handling the physical functions of driving the car. You may find yourself at your destination without even remembering of how you got there. This is called highway hypnosis. Daydreaming of any type is a form of naturally-occurring hypnosis.
